Men's Health Network is a member of the Combined Federal Campaign # 1 0 8 2 5
Welcome to the MHN HealthZone program, an initiative specifically
targeted to men so they can see where they measure up on the scorecard of good
health and, if needed, make the right changes to live healthier lives. MHN
HealthZone was created to address the deteriorating health of men caused by poor
health education, lack of awareness and culturally induced behavior patterns.
This has caused a silent health crisis, whereby men face higher mortality rates
than women for 9 of the 10 leading causes of death in addition to a shorter life
span.
You can use the MHN HealthZone kit to help plan a Wear BLUE event where
you work, play, or pray.
Users of the MHN HealthZone manual also gain listing as MHN Health Partners,
joining a distinguished list of corporations, community organizations,
hospitals, government agencies, fraternal organizations, and others who are
promoting health education, awareness and maintenance. Your efforts will be
acknowledged in our web site, press releases, and public information materials.
Please keep us informed about your upcoming events and activities.

Digital Training Manual, the electronic guide to health:
The MHN HealthZone Digital Training Manual provides the information you need to
develop, market, and manage your health event. A health screening or awareness
activity is the first step in helping men become more involved in achieving and
maintaining good health. These events provide a friendly and informative
atmosphere and can easily be worked into anyone's hectic schedule. This tool kit
is meant to serve as a guide so you can plan, conduct and evaluate your own
health event, no matter what size.
Free or low cost health care:
Free and low cost services may be available in your area. To find free or low
cost clinics in your area, free or low cost prescriptions, or information about
enrollment in clinical trials which may be available to treat your illness,
MHN can help:
If you do not wish to do a screening, but do want to raise awareness of men's
health needs, contact us for tips on exhibiting at a health fair or setting up
an information table at a concert, sporting event, or other community event. We
can provide you with health data, health charts, brochures, shower hangers,
pens, and typical screening outcomes from some of our own events.
We also publish the popular
Blueprint for Men's Health
manual and our newest publication,
Your Head: An
Owner's Manual .
