    IMF arranges for Urologists and technicians to provide free prostate cancer screenings for men which may involve a brief physical exam (DRE) and/or a simple PSA blood test. You can receive educational materials related to prostate cancer, preventative care, early detection, and treatment options at the screenings. The free prostate cancer screenings are for men over the age of 40 who have not been previously diagnosed with prostate cancer.

    Beebe Healthcare’s Population Health Department participates in community health fairs and provides community health screenings including: glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, body mass index, bone density, and flu shots. Events are open to the public.

    These events will be held on a weekly and monthly basis throughout the Spring of 2015.

    Dr. Jamin Brahmbhatt and Dr. Sijo Parekattil, Co-Directors of The PUR Clinic (Personalized Urology & Robotics, Clermont, Florida) announced the second ever TESLA Drive for Men’s Health. The two Urologists will attempt a marathon drive from Clermont, Florida (just outside Orlando) to New York City to California on Thursday, June 11, 2015 – Saturday, June 20, 2015 in an all-electric TESLA vehicle. The TESLA drive will be done in collaboration with the National Men’s Health Week (June 15-20). They will only stop to recharge the TESLA electric vehicle (30-45 min every 150-200 miles). During these stops, they will take part in educational lectures and activities to raise awareness for Men’s Health.
