    What: Roll Up Your Sleeves! Health Expo is a three-hour interactive event designed to educate and empower patients in their own health. The event will feature high-profile speakers, informational booths staffed by local medical groups and non-profits, healthy cooking demonstrations, and fitness classes. Approximately 500 community members are expected to attend the Health Expo, including those with or at-risk of high blood pressure.

    IMF arranges for Urologists and technicians to provide free prostate cancer screenings for men which may involve a brief physical exam (DRE) and/or a simple PSA blood test. You can receive educational materials related to prostate cancer, preventative care, early detection, and treatment options at the screenings. The free prostate cancer screenings are for men over the age of 40 who have not been previously diagnosed with prostate cancer.

    Beebe Healthcare’s Population Health Department participates in community health fairs and provides community health screenings including: glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, body mass index, bone density, and flu shots. Events are open to the public.

    These events will be held on a weekly and monthly basis throughout the Spring of 2015.

    The 6th annual Father's Day 8K will be run on a flat and fast out-and-back course along the C&O Canal Towpath. The first 300 participants will be provided a technical race shirt, and awards will be given out at the post-race celebration to the top 3 M/F overall, the top M/F in each 10-year age group, and the top Father-Son and Father-Daughter teams. Email to enter the father-child team competitions. There will also be a Kid's Kilometer Fun Run just after the race start. All children must be entered using a registration form with a parent's or guardian's signature.
