Massachusetts Men’s Health Facts:

  • Women live 5 years longer than men.
  • This year 5,700 new cases of prostate cancer will be diagnosed
    among men in Massachusetts.
  • 740 men will die from prostate cancer this year.
  • What does this mean for spouses and families? In Massachusetts, among women married to men the same age as themselves, almost 16% will be widows as they enter retirement (ages 65-69).
