REPORT BROKEN LINK
(Fiscal Years: 1991 and 1992)
The National Institutes of Health, OWHR, issued a report in 1992 that compared research spending on men's and women's health issues. The budget of each agency was analyzed to determine the spending levels on men and women, and the spending levels where both were included in the studies. This document lists the budgets of each NIH agency with sex noted.

(Survey of the Effect of Fibromyalgia (FM) on Men)
Men with FM have negative experiences with physical and mental health, quality of life, relationships, and careers as a result of FM. Interactions with health-care providers were deterred by potential for misdiagnosis or dismissal of symptoms, stigma of having a condition primarily affecting women, differences in treatment of men and women with FM, and need for health education resources.
